My sister just did a post on Lofts and I wanna put up some as well. I love the fact that it is all just one room and you are upstairs of everything. It is just sooo cozy. I was thinking that I could build a building full of lofts and they wouldnt be as expensive because they would be less floor space. Here are a few pics of Lofts that I adore:
I just came from a play at the Trinity Repertory Theater. I saw a play called Cabaret. It had been soo good. It was a musical about Berlin in the 1930s. It told a story about an American Novelist who went to Berlin for inspiration where he met a Germa man on the train into Berlin. The German man had informed the American about a placce in which he could stay. It was New Years eve when the American went to a club where he met an English performer. So the play continues explaining the relationship between them; the club performers; and the relations between the Landlady and another tenant. It shows how the Politics in Germany was affecting each group of people. The American was against the Nazis while the English performer was not bothered by it and preferred to stay. The club performers where for the Nazis but the Emcee of the club was against them. The Landlady is a hardworking lady who decides it is not safe to get into relations with a Jew who was born in Germany. It was very great but got very sad when all the relationships went down the drain.

The time I went was 2pm. It was the first time I ever went at 2pm and it mostly had elderly people. I am not sure if I would go at 2pm again but everyone was soo mature. I then came to the conclusion that when you get older you are more likely to cut your hair. I just hope that is mostly for the American women.
At the end of the play some ladies were shouting at the stage saying remove the Swastika. me and my not soo knowledgeable self wondering what the hell is a Swastika came home and looked it up. So I suppose it was hitting a nerve for those women seeing the Swastika.

I have not felt so depressed in a long time. I think this is one of the reasons I dont like to try things because I hate failing. I just took a test for my Business Plan class and I studied but I couldnt remember some of the information. I now feel soo retarded. I remember studying it a bunch of the stuff but I couldnt remember a bunch of the stuff. I feel so defeated that I dont even want to study for my test tomorrow. But I know that is stupid so i am going to do that right after I have my feast!!

Hey yall, I meant to put an entry in last night but life is weird. Last night I went to see an Illusionist named Wayne Hoffman. He was really good. I believe that in real life ppl could read minds and use their mind to perform different acts. As they say all you have to do is Believe!!!
Well I do believe. He did a few mind tricks and then there were a few that I believed in no matter what anyone would say. The final one was one where during the show he opened a can of pepsi and then he drank it off. While on the stage he crushed the can slightly. Then he held it sideways and upside down to prove it was empty. Then he spun it and the can became uncrushed. Then he was talking about using your imagination and he had pretended to throw the hole of the can into the crowd then when he showed the can to the audience it was sealed. Us knowing it was empty was suprised when he said that it was being filled up at that moment. Then he opened the can and poured out the pepsi in a cup. After seeing that I believe that is real!!
One week is done and I am prepared to start my journey to finishing Uni. Gosh. 4 years is almost done. But one thing i wont miss about America is the cold. I know it is going to snow before I leave. GREAT!!! Well. I am going to enjoy it as much as possible :)
O M F G!!! Do you see how things come around and kick you in your butt!! Well you know I was in England for 5 months and during that 5 months I had the ability to do a course where I would be running a restaurant with two other people. How fun!! Soo I decided I didnt want to do the course and I was like I will still help out as floor staff so that they would have less stress. So I didnt do the class but I still got an A plus a bottle of wine and a day planner.
Well I just found out that I have to do a course like the same thing but it would just be Me and an extra person. Tell me Karma is a Bee itch. GOSHH!!! But it is better here because here it is just for 4 hours while the one in England was for a while 6 hrs. My question is if you are a HOTEL major why are they making us do a course in Restaurant. I bet the Restaurant people dont have to do anything about Hotels!! GOOOOSSSSHhh!!!!

My morbid side kicked in and I was thinking of the worst things that a cynical kid could think up!! But seriously. Why the hell is there a bird at the top of this ... thing. Plus she lives upstairs of her work place but one of the tables for the customers is upstairs. Unless she doesnt allow people to eat in the store it is just a come in and buy and leave then. But there are two chairs so of course she is going to have places to eat. Unless she has a boyfriend but you have to buy him separately like every other toy. Plus this is for kids who are not going to lose stuff or put them in their mouths because they got tons of little pieces on this thing. Ok I am done rambling.
Hey guys, I just came back from seeing UP!!!! I know I am too nice to be a movie critic but it is one of the best movies I have ever seen I would categorize it under cute and cuddly like "Wall-E". I give it two thumbs up and a cuddly hug snap. Other Critics said it didnt have a straight forward plot but if it is for Kids they wont really notice. Plus there are enough laughing and near tears. So I would advise you to go and watch it with an open childish mind.!!!

Hey yall, thanks for being patient with me on the blogging. I am back in Rhode Island. Since I have reached I havent had much time for myself. So I just got back from my 7:10 class and just being bummy for a while before I go and get food.
I am in the Harborside Village and it is great. Each person has their own space and everything. There are 4 of us in the dorm - I will call the other 3 Ah, Bk, and Bm. I know Bm for like 2 years now and we are now sharing this apt like dorm. Bk I love her to bits but she curses a lil too much. But yea...Ah she is kinda anti social when it comes to us but she is always with her boyfriend who lives in another dorm. Bk has introduced us to some of her friends and I can see us all hanging out on a regular basis. But I have to ensure not to eliminate my own friends like Lr and Sc and even Ye. gosh... that it is easier to just have your own apt because you wont be meeting anyone new and having to get used to them. I have been here for 4 days and I havent seen Lr as yet and feel really bad. :(
I have been having my classes and it is interesting. The class I had today I was told that we have a group project but I am not sure how that is going to work out. Oh well. The other classes are not bad but I still have to go through my Concentration class which is on Friday (this week, normally on Monday) at 6pm - 9:30pm GREEAATT! 8-)
I went grocery shopping and picked up mostly foods that I would have to cook but the next time I go I will be able to pick up the greens so that I will be eating a well balanced diet. I havent really cooked since I reached but when I have been walking alot. Plus it does help to live on the third floor. I also got some good stuff for my room. When I am finish doing my room I will take pics and show you but it wont be like that for the whole year. God forbid. But yea. Food is calling me. I still have some other blogs to fill you in on! I suck ass, I do, I dont update my blog anymore, and I apologize. Ok... I really am sorry. Well, Carnival is done. The shows are finish, the jamming is finish (sorta). Back to the status quo. Like yesterday when I was driving back up to the hardware I was sooo happy to hear R&B and Rap (even some Dancehall) on Vybz FM. A person can only take soooo much SOCA for a period of time.
So now I am trying to make my BFF from Cali enjoy the rest of her time here. We went to the beach yesterday. Which beach ... Halfmoon Bay( one of our 365 beaches). BUT... when they said that Freetown was far I didnt realize it was THAT far. CRAP!!! I am driving and I am like WTF. Then we had a fun experience which kinda freaked out lots of people I was with but if I say what happens I might never be the same again and might be very sad. I am officially getting sick and tired of dum facking mothersuckers. Today a lady walked into my mom store (yes lady) and she had her hair plait back in cornrows. She looked like she was no older than 16 and lived in the country. Then a guy came into the store and totally disrespected her by cussin her and sayin all kinda shit about her. Then he went outside to stand up. My coworker had turn to the lady sayin that she shouldnt have any man treatin her like that then asked her how old she is. She answered saying 30. My other coworker asked her how much kids she got and she answered saying 10. This lady I must admit she look rundown but she looks like a country bumpkin. Then my first coworker tellin her no matter how old or young she is, she should never have anyone talking to her like that. Then the guy came inside again (like a dum facking mothersucker that he is) so i see him "dancing" and I ask him whre he was from. He answered saying he born in England and then lived in America and now here (waving his hand in disgust). So i asked him if he dont like it here. He said no. MY first response was to be polite and tell him to go back. But any longer he was in the store the closer i was going to tell him GET THE FACK OUT OF MY FACKING COUNTRY BECAUSE IT IS BETTER THAN BOTH PLACES THAT HE CLAIMING.
Now tell me one thing why black ppl have to go on like that. From that situation the lady have no self esteem, the guy is a Pussy ass nigga. But that is what I have noticed about lots of women today, they have no self esteem and then hook up with all this punk ass niggas and just turn out to be ... sad!! So I was going through some of the Trailers of movies that are coming out and noticed there are TWO, not one but TWO movies that were done by Tim Burton that I NEEEDDD to see. Alice in Wonderland.
Come on you gotta admit the Cheshire Cat looked hot!! OMG. Then there is the second movie which is ... 9. not Nine or nine or nIne but 9.
They just have this dark air about them that I have always found sexy. It is just hot!
So I decided to look and see if it was just me or if he is a Genius and ... guess what ... he is a GENIUS!!
I shall tell you some of the movies that not only are cool but I actually know and have watched or would watch. A few he has produced are Batman Forever, this is a classic. Come on, "Who's afraid of the Big Black Bat" Hellooooo. Sexy line. Wicked darkness. Then James and the Giant Peach, it was a good movie for reals.
Then there are movies such as Pee Wee's Big Adventure. I cant bring myself to watch it again because they have a scene where he is riding with a dead trucker. Talk about a cool way of putting something freakishly scary into the movie. Then Beetlejuice.Great ass movie. That movies is the shit I love it especially when they started singing "O Day Banana Boat Song":
Batman always had the best cars and everything check out this car Edward Scissorhands was great because it was a true indication of how you would feel if you know that you were different from everyone. Especially if others thing you are evil. Then of Course Batman had to return with the sexy and agile Catwoman
Then, in my opinion, the greatest of all Tim Burton Movies - The Nightmare before Christmas. What I love and get from it is that once you know what you are best at stick to it because anything else might not be your forte.
Cant forget Mars Attacks (hell I didnt even know that was a Tim Burton film) It was crazy funny and something that stays in your mind as a good film.
Then Remakes of Sleepy Hollow (no I didnt watch it but I heard it was really good) and Planet of the Apes. They were both known to be really good good movies. In the past ... 4 years ... yea... 4 years he has brought out Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride, Sweeney Todd. ALL VERY VERY GOOD.
One thing I will always love about Tim Burton's Movies is his ability to bring darkness into all his movies weather they are very happy to very morbid. Like in the new movies Alice in Wonderland has the sexy lookin Cheshire Cat which I would die if I dont see on big screen. Then in 9 just the fact that the machines are soo scary is fun. Plus Johnny Depp has the great ability to pull of the rolls given to him!!

Songs like this actually make you think of the days when songs had double meanings ( i cant remember what it was called, intaundra or something like that). Because to a child they would be wondering what black snake, and how do they moan. HMMMM But As an adult and been through the high school stage of your life you would know what the BLACK SNAKE is. I love the song ( or it could be i was in a dancing mood since I just watched HSM (High School Musical) 3. Why I watched it I dont know but it wasnt bad. Then right after I played the song and felt like I wanted to dance but I just did a few moves before I remembered that I have a Thorn in my foot (dont ask long story).

I have a love for a song. But it is not like any love for any song. This is a love that makes me want to smile and laugh one time I am listening to it and then cry the next time I listen to it. It is such a great song. The first place I heard it was on My Girl 2, when Vada was watching the clips of her mother. When I heard that song I fell in love. Here it is:

I have been assuming that I am going crazy, or something. I had a dream yesterday morning and It scared the shit out of me. It was like I was watching a horror movie through a 3D glasses. Since it was yesterday morning I cant say that I remember the whole thing and the finite details, but I will give you an idea of what I saw.
There is a guy that reminded me of the character, Michael Westen, in Burn Notice. He went into a diner (one of those diners that are opened 24 hrs and serve breakkie anytime of the day). From the diner you could see Manhattan and Brooklyn and there was a gully between them. He started talking to the waiter/waitress, who gave him an envelop. When he opened it, it mentioned something like "it is going up." He automatically thought that it was a bomb in the diner. So he ran towards the entrance and as soon as he reached outside there was an explosion a few miles away. When he looked up he saw the whole of Manhattan and Brooklyn burst into loud and fiery explosion. He ran inside just before the debris that was projected hit the glass door.
Then the next scene had freaked me out where there were a man and a woman in a room without furniture, they were sitting on a wooden floor and they were talking. It was night and they were obtaining light from the moon The man had his back towards the window.(remember this is a dream) The guy had leaned slightly to the right and just as he moved there was a shot that came through the window. When he was hit he slumped forward and fell on his side. Then it was like the scene backtracked and went into slow motion. So you could see the bullet coming inside through the window. It was like a regular bullet however the top of it had a red light and the closer it got to him it had opened up. It peirced into his back and then there was a movement under his skin. Then from the opening from the bullet wound a robotic spider looking machine came out and clamped onto his face. Then strangely there was a bed in the room. So the girl ran to the bed but there was another shot fired. It had missed her but the machine had transformed and was starting to come towards her. She then began hitting it with a pilllow and sheets but it kept coming after her. So she finally hit it so hard that it laid under the sheet for a while. She ran out of the room down the hallway towards the door but stopped when she saw her mother by the computer which is near the door. So she stopped and her mother was asking her what was the problem (not looking away from the computer). The girl said there is a thing after her. She then looked up the hall and saw the machine rushing down the hall way towards her. Then she had hit it and she began jumping up and down trying to keep it from getting on her. She then fell to the ground and curled into the fetal position and then she whispered to her mother that the guy (by name) is dead. Then the next scene was from outside the house looking into the window that the bullet entered. The body was gone.
Dear Readers, It is sooo interesting learning new things about myself. Like the fact that I have mastered my way to hide my Green Monster. I am a very Jealous person and I get jealous over bullcrap. Then to not look like a fool or some kind of stupid jealous bitch, I would find something else to do or something to look at or zone out in order to not focus on the situation that I am jealous about. But recently I have not been able to control it. I am thinking about myself more and more and feeling more guilty every time. I would then just feel a heavy weight in my chest and I feel like I cant breath for a while.
Like if me and my friends are walking together and a guy calls one of my friends I feel really weird. I was talking to my neighbor and her cousin is on Island for Carnival. When my neighbor described her cousin I automatically felt jealous. Then she mentioned that at Jam Corner all the guys were trying to get her attention. I would have died and felt like I was worth shit. I know I have a low self esteem, I try to make myself feel better. But I have grown to just ... put myself down before any form of jealousy comes into play. Hell it came to the point that it was easier to put myself down that to even bother with anything else. I do it with my closest of friends and some of the farthest of acquaintances.
Today I couldnt fight this pain. I couldnt put the wall up infront of this big Green Monster that I have been battling with for all of my life. I also learn that I dont have a seductive sober bone in my body. When I am slightly tipsy (like 2-3 beers or 3-4 glasses of wine) I could be a seductress (I think even though I doubt it) But I was watching people and I dont think I could ever be the touchy feely huggy old me any more. I was MAD jealous about that today. I have never been able to allow myself to get comfortably close to a guy to say that I am being seductive. As well as the fact that I have no hobbies or skills (hell I dont play sports, instruments or do any art)... this is just like the topping on the cake. Gosh I am so worthless. Ok I must not say that but the truth hurts.
I guess That is all I gotta air out. However, I please dont want anyone to stop doing what they do just because of my inability to control my stupidity.
