Prevention is better than cure but not all the time.
I have finally heard one of my roommates talkin about me. That is why it is GREAT that I dont walk like a fuckin elephant on the floor. But yes, I always wondered what my roommates said about me behind my back since they do talk about each other behind each of their backs.
I went out into the living room and I picked up the ordering sheet.
Bn was saying I dont know how under the stove gets soo effing nasty. Most of it is my fault anyway.
A said not just that but no one cleans it and Michele would just walk in and pass it. (I wish she would have continued but)
Bn said she is right behind us, but A didnt understand. So Bn had to say it louder.
Now in my mind. MAYBE you should cook that you dont mess it up or deliberately mess it up so that you have to clean it up. That is where I see Prevention is better than cure.
However when it comes to people, you just gotta let things move on because trying to prevent shit doesnt work.
I am officially sad that my roommy Bo is leaving next month. FML.

I might be using my friend, Ordz, blog entries alot but I always get great stuff from her!! Like this one. Lessons from Avatar.Plus Avatar is a great movie (my opinion, if you hated it that is yours)and I found this part of it very refreshing.

Say no to stretchmarks
I dont know bout all of you but i suffer from tons of stretch marks since i am a big girl. My weight has fluctuated from a little girl when i was a child then i blew up and was big up till 6-8th grade. Then i lost alot of weight in 8-9th grade then i grew into my curves in 10th 11th grade (aka 4th 5th form). Then I got a bit bigger in state college and now ... oh God Now.. I have blew up to the biggest I have ever been.

Be yourself
Holy moley. I know everyone has been sayin this all the time but after trying to be the one who needs the attention. I grew to adopt other peoples personalities and likes and dislikes. I also would change myself to please people (dont be sayin oh that is not good be yourself, I heard it all before) but when my boo here said it and put it in this way it kinda makes me wonder who am I. Other than someone who needs attention. Loves the idea of art but not a big fan of it. Love rock and roll but can handle all music (except country). I love being hyper and different (my need for attention) and I love the idea and the concept of love. However I have always wanted to be a lil bit of everything, Goth, preppy, punk, emo(a lil different from goth), caribbean, european, asian (even though you guys are really tiny and I too big to look as cute as you guys do). I have always wanted to take a bit from everything but i never been able to. So maybe within these next few years I will find myself. Hell if I cant decide on who I am how am I gonna decide what kinda hotel I gonna operate.

Hi again.
Well, It is 2010 aka Twenty Ten. And before 2010 came my doctor told me that because I was having swelling of the feet I have to lose weight. My body is not able to handle all the weight I have gained since I started uni. So I have been looking up information on losing weight and shit. I am going to try and lose 20 lbs by the end of uni. If more even better. I have been looking up ways on how to cook fish and I have settled with steaming and baking. :D So now i just have to buy the food. I have rice and pasta here in the dorm and I was told to cut them out so I kinda havent eaten anything for the day. So I am going to have to change that soon. But yea I came across this and found it interesting.

One of the best things you can do for your overall health is drop a few pounds. Or maybe more than a few pounds. Being overweight significantly increases your risk of heart disease, diabetes, stroke, high blood pressure, cancer... the list seems almost endless. Plus, if you do get sick or need surgery, being overweight can make any treatments riskier.
You know the drill when it comes to losing weight--take in fewer calories, burn more calories. But you also know that most diets and quick weight-loss plans have about as much substance as a politician's campaign pledges. You're better off finding several simple things you can do on a daily basis--along with following the cardinal rules of eating more vegetables and less fat and getting more physical activity. Together, they should send the scale numbers in the right direction: down.
1. Once a week, indulge in a highcalorie-tasting, but low-calorie, treat. This should help keep you from feeling deprived and binging on higher calorie foods. For instance:
* Lobster. Just 83 calories in 3 ounces.
* Shrimp. Just 60 calories in 12 large.
* Smoked salmon. Just 66 calories in two ounces. Sprinkle with capers for an even more elegant treat.
* Whipped cream. Just 8 calories in one tablespoon. Drop a dollop over a bowl of fresh fruit for dessert.
2. Treat high-calorie foods as jewels in the crown. Make a spoonful of ice cream the jewel and a bowl of fruit the crown. Cut down on the chips by pairing each bite with lots of chunky, filling fresh salsa, suggests Jeff Novick, director of nutrition at the Pritikin Longevity Center & Spa in Florida. Balance a little cheese with a lot of salad.
3. After breakfast, make water your primary drink. At breakfast, go ahead and drink orange juice. But throughout the rest of the day, focus on water instead of juice or soda. The average American consumes an extra 245 calories a day from soft drinks. That's nearly 90,000 calories a year--or 25 pounds! And research shows that despite the calories, sugary drinks don't trigger a sense of fullness the way that food does.
4. Carry a palm-size notebook everywhere you go for one week. Write down every single morsel that enters your lips--even water. Studies have found that people who maintain food diaries wind up eating about 15 percent less food than those who don't.
5. Buy a pedometer, clip it to your belt, and aim for an extra 1,000 steps a day. On average, sedentary people take only 2,000 to 3,000 steps a day. Adding 2,000 steps will help you maintain your current weight and stop gaining weight; adding more than that will help you lose weight.
6. Add 10 percent to the amount of daily calories you think you're eating, then adjust your eating habits accordingly. If you think you're consuming 1,700 calories a day and don't understand why you're not losing weight, add another 170 calories to your guesstimate. Chances are, the new number is more accurate.
7. Eat five or six small meals or snacks a day instead of three large meals. A 1999 South African study found that when men ate parts of their morning meal at intervals over five hours, they consumed almost 30 percent fewer calories at lunch than when they ate a single breakfast. Other studies show that even if you eat the same number of calories distributed this way, your body releases less insulin, which keeps blood sugar steady and helps control hunger.
8. Walk for 45 minutes a day. The reason we're suggesting 45 minutes instead of the typical 30 is that a Duke University study found that while 30 minutes of daily walking is enough to prevent weight gain in most relatively sedentary people, exercise beyond 30 minutes results in weight and fat loss. Burning an additional 300 calories a day with three miles of brisk walking (45 minutes should do it) could help you lose 30 pounds in a year without even changing how much you're eating.
9. Find an online weight-loss buddy. A University of Vermont study found that online weight-loss buddies help you keep the weight off. The researchers followed volunteers for 18 months. Well, It is 2010 aka Twenty Ten. And before 2010 came my doctor told me that because I was having swelling of the feet I have to lose weight. My body is not able to handle all the weight I have gained since I started uni. So I have been looking up information on losing weight and shit. I am going to try and lose 20 lbs by the end of uni. If more even better. I have been looking up ways on how to cook fish and I have settled with steaming and baking. :D So now i just have to buy the food. I have rice and pasta here in the dorm and I was told to cut them out so I kinda havent eaten anything for the day. So I am going to have to change that soon. But yea I came across this and found it interesting.

One of the best things you can do for your overall health is drop a few pounds. Or maybe more than a few pounds. Being overweight significantly increases your risk of heart disease, diabetes, stroke, high blood pressure, cancer... the list seems almost endless. Plus, if you do get sick or need surgery, being overweight can make any treatments riskier.
You know the drill when it comes to losing weight--take in fewer calories, burn more calories. But you also know that most diets and quick weight-loss plans have about as much substance as a politician's campaign pledges. You're better off finding several simple things you can do on a daily basis--along with following the cardinal rules of eating more vegetables and less fat and getting more physical activity. Together, they should send the scale numbers in the right direction: down.
1. Once a week, indulge in a highcalorie-tasting, but low-calorie, treat. This should help keep you from feeling deprived and binging on higher calorie foods. For instance:
* Lobster. Just 83 calories in 3 ounces.
* Shrimp. Just 60 calories in 12 large.
* Smoked salmon. Just 66 calories in two ounces. Sprinkle with capers for an even more elegant treat.
* Whipped cream. Just 8 calories in one tablespoon. Drop a dollop over a bowl of fresh fruit for dessert.
2. Treat high-calorie foods as jewels in the crown. Make a spoonful of ice cream the jewel and a bowl of fruit the crown. Cut down on the chips by pairing each bite with lots of chunky, filling fresh salsa, suggests Jeff Novick, director of nutrition at the Pritikin Longevity Center & Spa in Florida. Balance a little cheese with a lot of salad.
3. After breakfast, make water your primary drink. At breakfast, go ahead and drink orange juice. But throughout the rest of the day, focus on water instead of juice or soda. The average American consumes an extra 245 calories a day from soft drinks. That's nearly 90,000 calories a year--or 25 pounds! And research shows that despite the calories, sugary drinks don't trigger a sense of fullness the way that food does.
4. Carry a palm-size notebook everywhere you go for one week. Write down every single morsel that enters your lips--even water. Studies have found that people who maintain food diaries wind up eating about 15 percent less food than those who don't.
5. Buy a pedometer, clip it to your belt, and aim for an extra 1,000 steps a day. On average, sedentary people take only 2,000 to 3,000 steps a day. Adding 2,000 steps will help you maintain your current weight and stop gaining weight; adding more than that will help you lose weight.
6. Add 10 percent to the amount of daily calories you think you're eating, then adjust your eating habits accordingly. If you think you're consuming 1,700 calories a day and don't understand why you're not losing weight, add another 170 calories to your guesstimate. Chances are, the new number is more accurate.
7. Eat five or six small meals or snacks a day instead of three large meals. A 1999 South African study found that when men ate parts of their morning meal at intervals over five hours, they consumed almost 30 percent fewer calories at lunch than when they ate a single breakfast. Other studies show that even if you eat the same number of calories distributed this way, your body releases less insulin, which keeps blood sugar steady and helps control hunger.
8. Walk for 45 minutes a day. The reason we're suggesting 45 minutes instead of the typical 30 is that a Duke University study found that while 30 minutes of daily walking is enough to prevent weight gain in most relatively sedentary people, exercise beyond 30 minutes results in weight and fat loss. Burning an additional 300 calories a day with three miles of brisk walking (45 minutes should do it) could help you lose 30 pounds in a year without even changing how much you're eating.

201st BLOG ENTRY!!!!
Ok I havent done a post because I was like oh I wanna put up the Christmas pics for my 200th post!!!! but ... I kinda used that spot for that damn Kick ass trailers. SOOOOOO the last one was 200 now this is my 201st BLOG YAY!!!!! I have alot to cover so lets get started.
I am back in RI now. Just got in last night. lol. But I have been having some strange feelings since last night. You can call them Deja Vu feelings. Everywhere I turn I am seeing or feeling the feeling I had in Leeds, England. I even came into my building and felt like I was entering Bishopdale Building in Sugarwell Court. I was walkin in and I was like omg the snow. OMG. and I was envisioning the snow in the center of Sugarwell. I was walking up the stairs and I just felt like I was visualizing the stairwell in Bishopdale. I could even smell the smells of the stairwell and outside. It had brought back all the pain that had resided in me for months after I left Leeds. Ok i cant say just Leeds, I should say ENGLAND!! I almost started crying and I hurt so much. It doesnt help that I am sick and tired of this place but when I am visualizing it is somewhere that I rather be. That is when it really hurts. Ok that was my break down for the day.
I had came across these videos and I haved the Embed code and had them on my computer for almost a week now. I am a big fan of Top Gear (a british show about cars) and one of the hosts, James joins Rally Driver Ken Block on a airfield Rallying!!! The part I loved most was near the end and just look at James' face when they are getting "air". It has some sweet slowmo's hope you find it as artistically beautiful as i did!!!
Plus I gotta give love for the Vancouver cats!!
I need to learn this dance!!!! YES!!! OMG the end!!!

I've Learned
Hey one of my BFFs sent me to a blog called THYLACINE's LAIR | A PLACE FOR REFRESHING ONESELF and he had this poem up and it was like crazy true and I know that some of the things that is stated I do not do and I do feel bad about it on a regular basis. :( But I hope you enjoy it as much as I did:

I have been listening to Bjork for the entire weekend and I love her soo much. For those of you who dont know her (for shame lol) here is the Wiki on her:

Lost like Maggie!!
I am lost... I finally saw the movie Runaway Bride and it made me look at myself a lil harder. Gosh.. I am Lost. I was having lunch with some of my friends from Freshman year and they were saying that they HATE when people count calories. I never used to do it so before this academic year started that statement would never apply to me. But last night when I went to the supermarket to get my recipes for my macaroni pie my roommate was saying that she always calorie count. Not only the calories but the fat calories as well. This is where I notice that I am lost. I want to fit into both situations but I cant. :(
I know I am suppose to be my own person and all but it is hard to do that when I am used to making other people like me. When I be my own person I hate more people more and more everyday. So I learn to be diverse. Just like Maggie in Runaway Bride I havent found myself yet, I just roll with the motion and pick up interests from other people. It is harsh.
Oh and I have come to terms with the fact that I am a pussi. I hate sarcasm, I dislike when people use harsh sarcasm with me, and hell my psych professor said anyone who base their personality on sarcasm is a sick and twisted person. It hurts man. It really really hurts sometimes. I dont mind when it is lil things but when you are making fun of something that I never done before It effing hurts. :(
I tell people that I know I am lame like that for being a pussi but after learning the true meaning of sarcasm (comes from the Latin sacar which means to tear flesh) I have noticed that my life would be better without sarcasm. But nooo I wont tell anyone because I dont want anyone to change because of me. I rather make them stay how they are because some of these actual people I will never ever see again. Those that I will see again I will either learn to wear a word-proof overall and get over it or just tell them about it when it really hurts.

My trip to NC
Hey yall,
I went to North Carolina for Thanksgiving to visit my friend, D. Before I even went I was wondering if it was a good idea that I went. I am normally the type of person who after I leave them I tend to lose contact with them. I know, I know it is bad but as I learnt in class "Absence makes the heart grow dimmer". It is not my fault. So I spent my 22 hrs on the bus on the way down meeting some really interesting characters on the way. Such as Ashley and her husband who were expecting a baby next year Feb; Lala, a latina who was just sooo cute and small and adorable; ohh I cant forget Zach who was an aspiring musician who serenaded us with his guitar. Then there was the dude Bobby who just started talkin to me and buyin me breakfast.
But yea forget the ride, back to NC by D. When I reached I was open to every and anything. So we went walkin around and she showed me the campus and we went to get food. Then I when we went back to her room I met her roommates. One of her roommies took us to the mall with 2 of her friends. It was a huge mall but i was pissed at how far it was from the campus. But we were not in the mood to go to the room so we went with the 2 girls and we just drinking and so forth. We went back to the dorm and went to this super market kinda place called Harris Teeter and rented 2 movies from this thing called RedBox.
We saw lots of movies including 2012, Precious, and some great ones that include My Life in Ruins, Wild things, and Ninja Assasin.
At the beginning of the trip I was getting annoyed with her but then I just noticed that she is the type who is never by herself so she always finds ways to keep herself busy with people. So when I accepted that I happened to enjoy it all. So I certainly did not regret going :) Plus I got some cool clothes out of the trip :D

I am normally the type of person who after I leave them I tend to lose contact with them. I know, I know it is bad but as I learnt in class "Absence makes the heart grow dimmer". It is not my fault. So I spent my 22 hrs on the bus on the way down meeting some really interesting characters on the way. Such as Ashley and her husband who were expecting a baby next year Feb; Lala, a latina who was just sooo cute and small and adorable; ohh I cant forget Zach who was an aspiring musician who serenaded us with his guitar. Then there was the dude Bobby who just started talkin to me and buyin me breakfast.
But yea forget the ride, back to NC by D. When I reached I was open to every and anything. So we went walkin around and she showed me the campus and we went to get food. Then I when we went back to her room I met her roommates. One of her roommies took us to the mall with 2 of her friends. It was a huge mall but i was pissed at how far it was from the campus. But we were not in the mood to go to the room so we went with the 2 girls and we just drinking and so forth. We went back to the dorm and went to this super market kinda place called Harris Teeter and rented 2 movies from this thing called RedBox.
We saw lots of movies including 2012, Precious, and some great ones that include My Life in Ruins, Wild things, and Ninja Assasin.
At the beginning of the trip I was getting annoyed with her but then I just noticed that she is the type who is never by herself so she always finds ways to keep herself busy with people. So when I accepted that I happened to enjoy it all. So I certainly did not regret going :) Plus I got some cool clothes out of the trip :D

Phones!!
I have noticed that girls use phones to talk about ... MEN!!! Why should I waste my time and energy and ooooh my minutes talking about some nucca who not even thinking about me at the moment. Gosh. This is a short blog because I am sad that my birthday sucked balls!! :( But oh well it has come and gone I will have more fun when I either go back to RI or when I reach home!!! Oh and this time next month will be Boxing Day (for those who celebrate it) The day after Christmas. Which means that yesterday it was a month before Christmas. Which also means it was my BIRTHDAY!!! I have never felt so neglected by people around me. But I am happy I got the Calls and Texts and even ALLL The facebook posts!!! :D That made my day!!

Judgement
i swear i am tired of prejudgement from ppl. that is why i have no one specific reaction to life. I am the type to follow in peoples footsteps. I am not much of one to choose my own things without getting opinions. So when i saw my sister Kim had done her zodiac sign I wanted to do mine too lol. The ones i find more related to me are highlighted!

Lofts Mayeshah style!!
My sister just did a post on Lofts and I wanna put up some as well. I love the fact that it is all just one room and you are upstairs of everything. It is just sooo cozy. I was thinking that I could build a building full of lofts and they wouldnt be as expensive because they would be less floor space.
