Tooo much stress for one class

Ok now the feeling of impending doom has passed. I still slightly feel like I am responsible for the disasters in the kitchen.
However right now a fellow classmate is going into her Chef position tomorrow and she is being given numerous reasons to stress out. Her partner, the actual menu day fears, and the risk of losing staff members. I swear this class isnt worth the stress but It sure teaches us that not everything is perfect. You can plan till you start to lose brain matter and that is when it is likely to fail. When there is very little room for error, error finds its way in. Plus working with people it can be very difficult. I personally have to look at myself and re-evaluate what kind of leader I am going to be because if I am the type of leader I was yesterday I will have numerous breakdowns when I feel like I haven't done the best I could.
In a few minutes it will be 23 days till I am walking and getting out of this place. But then I would be entering the scary work world.

Well I am out gotta get this project done ;)

No matter how hard I planned and replanned and set up for disaster my menu turned out to be a disaster.

I feel like such a failure omg

It even makes me wonder if I am suitable to operate a hotel.

I have put basically EVERYTHING on the back burner for this damn class and I still failed.

Would I watch it?

I was lookin through my blogs and I saw my sis had put up a post about "if your life was a movie would you watch it?" (read it her's here). Now thinking about it if someone edited my life well and i mean lots of editing (taking out the times I am on the internet (which would be like a whole day) or just times when i am not around people or going places by myself) Yes I would watch it. But only with the editing. Other than that I wasted alot of time but I know that if I am with the right people I can have really good conversations or great adventures.

My sister also mentioned that she doesn't have much of a personality. I do wonder why we are cursed with this. I know that I am able to fit in with any group I am with. I would basically forget everything I have been used to doing with one group of people and do what the other group of people wants. But I have no specific personality except for being very extroverted when I am around people.

I should get out more though cause I dont do anything if I dont have people to do it with. Example the damn movies. If i dont have anyone to go with the cinema never see me :( But I will make an effort to go soon.

Well I gonna go and do other shit!!! Dont know what yet.

OHHH I am going to be a Maid of Honour at one of my friends wedding :D yay !!!! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!!

I know that I am guilty of this and I know a few other ladies who are guilty of this as well so I hope they take this to heart and incorporate the new wisdom they gained from this blog entry i found from one of the dudes i follow, Mr Smart Guy.

The above poem popped into my head after a conversation with the fellas awhile back. We were sitting at a local watering hole, catching up on old times, discussing a myriad of things in the journey of catching up with one another. We hadn't seen each in quite some time so you can imagine there was a lot of banter going around.

All of sudden, we see a group of attractive young ladies, perhaps looking in our general direction. After quickly glancing back with our masculine glares, we definitely knew they were looking at us. It was at least six in their group and we had about five in ours. They were looking with urgency as if to implore us to come over. We continued to converse with one another; looking for signs that they wanted us in their company.

After about several minutes of stolen glances, we began to discuss the fact that these young women were obviously interested but yet they stayed glued to their chairs. The night went on and both of our parties went their respective ways but the remnants of that night clung to me.

Why DIDN'T those ladies approach US?

They were interested - at least seemingly so.

Why didn't they at least initiate conversation or even do something to make an opening for it? Perhaps they weren't as enthralled as we thought they were but I don't think that was the case.

My thought is that a lot of women are conditioned to having men approach them and this group was one of its disciples.

I know that some might be asking: what's wrong with that?
There's nothing wrong with it at all.

If that's your prerogative, feel free to sit back and wait on your knight in shining armor. Chances are he's not willing to fight through the angry pack of wolves (also known as your friends); just for the chance for you to possibly take his number.

I know some women believe that Mr. Right will fall into their laps, possibly through the law of averages and/or constant prayer. Perhaps, it might happen - but more than likely it won't. Think if you took that same approach with money.

I'm not going to work today.
God will send a blessing through the Lotto.


Odds are - with that logic, the only gambling will be done is to see which utility will be cut off first. But I digress...

Ladies, I implore you. If you want something, go for it. More than likely, a man won't reject you. In fact, he'll embrace your refreshing take on things. I know. I'm a man. Trust me.

Be very aware - we men are simple. We are not mind readers. Give us concise directions and the probability is - we'll follow them. If you leave us to ascertain your feelings, you'll probably end up like those slightly inebriated ladies at the bar - hanging with your girls.

Now yesterday my 2 roommates were discussing different fast food places and I said all we got is KFC and Subway and then they started a discussion on how they dont like KFC and I had to set them straight that KFC in Antigua is better than any KFC in any part of America. Then they corrected themselves and said they dont like Fried Chicken. Then it dawned on me about the Stereo Type of Black People loving Fried Chicken. Now lets take a look at the scenario:

Antigua = tons of Black people
Fried Chicken = loved by Black people
KFC = provides Fried Chicken

so KFC, (who provides) Fried Chicken, (which is loved by Black people) to Antiguans (tons of Black people)

NOW I SEE WHY KFC is soo thriving in Antigua!!! And is the best!!!

I swear when i see people in a play and then see them in person i am tempted to say hi like i actually know them but i just know their character. Lol. Just had to post this up cause i found it funny that i am on my way to class and this dude that was in the play on sunday came onto the bus and i was almost going to tell him hi. Luckily this time my memory wasnt too far behind my face recognition. But i think that is why i wouldnt wanna meet an actor cause u never know what the really are like (unless u meet them in person and didnt know they were an actor and got to know their personality. Oh well. The dude on the bus right now is cute as hell and he is from hawaii. Ok i think this is long enough. I thinkwhen i come home i will label this: Phone Blog!!!

FEAR of PSYCHOPATHS???

I have always wondered what was my fascination with Rock and Roll and Psychopaths. Well there isnt much of a co-relation between the two easily. But I am a great fan of Rock and Roll and how it has such close relations to how I feel on a regular basis. However the main group that Has hit the nail on the head with my emotions is Linkin Park. Every time I feel misunderstood I can just listen to Linkin Park.

There is a song by Linkin Park that speaks about the conscience.



Well there are some people who dont have this "face". 4% of Americans are estimated not to have this "face" but It is one of the worst things that I have encountered and I am just amazed by people who are not faltered with this hindrance. I have always wondered what would happen if I didnt have a conscience. Hell I probably would have continued with my main career choice "Business Management." I have always seen my conscience as a hindrance. There are people out there that just deserve to be hurt. I will not share any examples by a few popped into my mind. That face in the back of my mind has always laughed at me and made me feel like I am inadequate. However, if asked if I had a choice of living with or without a conscience I would say I dont know. I would like to experience not having one for a short period to see if i would be less disappointed by people around me. I would rather be the one doing the disappointing that being disappointed on a regular basis.

You probably wondering why I am going off on this tangent but I just watched the movie that I have always loved in my whole life. FEAR!!! This dude is a serious psychopath who tried to care but after being disrespected he went back to his old ways.

My sister told me about the movie American Psycho and when I saw it I was even more intrigued. It may have freaked her out about how people thinking like that but it is beyond intriguing for me.

There are so much movies about Psychopaths and I just love them all. One that popped into my mind was the movie Funny Games:



It has the most twisted plot and It is not like any movie you have watched. But then again they are bringing out movies that is like no other movie you have watched (that is Human Centipede (yes Kim I brought it up) cause even though it freaked me out that someone even thought about it. This dude is lacking a conscience or else he wouldnt be able to carry out the acts in which he is doing on these unsuspecting people) Well Back to Funny Games: There is a scene in the movie where you would just be like ... what is going on... someone say something.... what the .... is this movie frozen or something wtf. YES exactly. I watched it online and was like ... uuuhhhh what. But I think that was to Bring the suspense. Seriously I would advise anyone who reads this blog to go and watch it!!! It is wicked twisted.

Then there is Wild Things which proves that you can never tell exactly who is the Psychopath in the whole group. Some people do it for a reason and justify the reason to their conscience for it to be seen as right. While other people are truly the heartless ones. If you have not seen that either GO AND WATCH IT!!! I have the DVD which shows how much I love it!!!

Now back to Human Centipede. Oh yes SIS I am going to lament on this for a while. I encourage people to watch the Trailer. If you are as interested in Psychopaths as me then it is best that you watch it. Maybe if you are interested in Psychopaths and Horror you can watch the entire movie. I am not a horror fan but suspense is my fan. Hell I will force you to watch the trailer (well not force but give you easy access to it):



Yes that was some fucked up mind raping right there. However I am fascinated by Psychopaths, Sociopaths and persons with Antisocial personality disorders. That is why I am doing that for my Abnormal Psych class project. Mad crazy aint it!!! Well After watching Fear and having to pull information from the recesses of my mind about the book that i have to read and the movies I have watched about Psychopaths.

But to let you know now, Psychopaths are not just the people who kill and deform people it could be the person who you interact with everyday and they constantly lie about things and do random shit to disappoint you!

The people tour guide Nevil Owen (if ever in Leeds or Sheffield look him up he has some of the best Tours out there) told everyone on the bus that we would receive a free bag (or shirt) if we are able to say that damn name and I found the best learning guide. Unlike the people who worked at the visitors stop they actually teach you (i know there are like 500 other ppl in the building who will ask the cashier how to say it but still) So check out the vid.

DAMNNN... totally scary... :(

OMFG!!!! OK My sis put up a few videos of a show "Jamie Oliver Eat to Save your Life". I shall place the videos below because I think they will be a motivational thing for me. During the videos I looked at my weight - presently after going to the Gym for like 3 weeks I have gone from 16 st 1lb to 15 st 5 lbs (almost one stone) which is pretty high for my height of 5'10" - 5'11". My BMI. OMFG my BMI. Presently if I lose 10 lbs more I will be back in the Overweight section. However I am in the Category 1 Obese. YES EFFING OBESE!! FUCKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!! My Grandma died from Diabetes, my dad is suffering from it (not really suffering it but he is struggling with it) and I if you look at the lineage I am next in line. FML. But the thing is if I am active (exercising or just doing work) I dont need to eat, my brain just doesnt think about it and I could just drink water or fruit juice and carry on with what I am doing. Maybe that is how I lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks. I have noticed that I dont eat much now adays (I know VERY VERY BAD) like today I had a potato skin, half a scoop of mashed potatoes, one biscuit, like a lil bit of scrambled egg and a drumstick (that is while i was in the kitchen for my class.) When I got home I had a yogurt and fruit cup mixed together, orange juice .... one 16 oz cup of unsweetened apple juice and now I am about to drink some water. GOSH talk about bad. But I have a scale and I weigh myself every other day in the morning so I get the proper weight.

OK let me stop talkin about myself I am bad to my body. My heart knows it my liver knows it (well i think it does) my colon sure does know it and my lungs know it. But I know that I will have to get more serious. Ok I might have to go and eat something ... maybe tuna... and corn lol

Uni Friends!!!

OK I havent gone to bed as yet but I am going to go as soon as soon as I finish this blog!!!

I always have my radio on because I have no TV and for the whole night they have been playing music which reminds me of movies like "Nick and Norah's infinite playlist" and some of the other movies where people are interacting with interesting people when they are with their friends. Or even Juno. All I need is a friend to be loafing with and watching random movies or shows!!! I never saw some of my friends as close friends until they do something that classifies as sooo cool (or fulfilling one of the things I want to experience). Well 2008 when I was a Junior and my friends D and Bo would come to my room and just chill out and shit that was fun!!! Then when I got the DVDs for Noah's ARC and Queer as Folk

Well today is Easter Sunday and I don't really care!!! It is just another day. And I am all alone. But I don't care or mind. OHHHH I got me a Snuggie. I gave in. I was tired of the late night seizures from the cold. But No one knows about them because my door is usually closed and I am quiet. Just a few more weeks 7!!! Then I can say Farewell to this place which had soo much possibility. :)

Snuggies are really nice. I went to sleep with it over me and my comforter over it and i didnt even want to get out of bed to use the bathroom. Something I will enjoy when i go home :) So Kim if you bring your snuggie we can give RI, and Boston a Snuggie Invasion!!!

OHHH I don't know what drew me to checking my FB today at that exact time of my life, but when I looked I saw that my friend Shakespeare (Kim you know just add the first name) became friends with someone that I rarely even remember when I look back into my past. She doesn't even appear as a blip on my Fun Times radar which is a shame. ... OK no it isn't. CHRISTINE ANDREW is officially a member of FB and I went on her page. I didn't even feel compelled to add her. lol.

Well I am going to go and lie down and hope sleep comes since I took a 4 hr nap this evening. From 5 to9. greeaaattt!!!

It is a cute movie and I will put the first part of the movie up here so If you want to watch the whole thing you can just keep going through the parts. (1-8)

It was no Anastasia nor Aristocats. But it was a cute movie. In my Food Management class some of the ppl asked what was everyone's favorite cartoon and alot of people said Fievel. So I looked it up and I have seen the lil mouse before but I never saw the movie.
